 Director of marketing and events, premiere radio networks
Allison Pieter is the director of marketing and events for Premiere Radio Networks, a division of Clear Channel Communications, Inc. She is responsible for the marketing of all of Premiere Radio's talk programming, including The Rush Limbaugh Program, The Sean Hannity Show, and The Jim Rome Show, among others. In addition, Pieter produces various national meetings for Clear Channel Radio. Prior to that, Pieter was the director of event planning for Premiere Radio, in charge of the event marketing and branding of more than 90 Premiere products and services at radio-industry conferences and events. Pieter has produced events for notable Premiere Radio personalities such as Rush Limbaugh, Steve Harvey, Ryan Seacrest and Glenn Beck.
An event-planning professional with nearly 15 years experience, Pieter has planned hundreds of events throughout her career and is an expert in concept development, strategy, budgeting, event execution, and media, talent, and client relations. She has produced events ranging from celebrity concerts and promotional parties, to awards shows and executive conferences including securing prominent speakers and A-list entertainment. Prior to joining Premiere Radio, Pieter was a senior producer for Digital Planet, a multi-platform production company. She produced some of the first live, interactive programs broadcast via the Internet for such clients as Yahoo!, Miscrosoft, DreamWorks, AOL/Time Warner, Universal Pictures and Fox Broadcasting. A career highlight was when Pieter and her team collaborated with the Democratic National Convention Committee to develop and produce Internet programming during the National Convention in Los Angeles, including nightly broadcasts live from the podium with interviews featuring key political figures. Pieter got her start working for a variety of event-planning companies in Southern California, producing myriad corporate and social events. The California native has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. |
