 Iris was born on a Kibbutz, and she is now living in Tel Aviv. She is a writer, directress, actress and an acting teacher & coach. Majored acting and directing for the theatre at "The school of Stage-Arts at the Kibbutzim Seminar" in Tel-Aviv, and at the B.T.A and The Actors' Institute, in London.
Iris acted, directed and wrote plays for various groups and theatres, such as the Habima National Theatre, the Orna Porat Theatre- for- Children and the Arab-Hebrew Theatre.
Studied at The School for script-writing. Two of her scripts for short movies were filmed, one winning the script-competition of "Reshet", a broadcasting company of Israeli T.V.
