 Eitan Green is a writer, director, a teacher and the Head of the Screenwriting Department at the Tel Aviv University (M.F.A) since 2000 and is a prominent filmmaker whose credits extend to numerous films and television drama series. Among these: "Lena" (1980), "When Night Falls" (1984, Best Script Israel Academy 1985), "American Citizen" (1992, Best Film Israeli Film Critics Guild), "As Tears Go By" (1996), Henri's Dream (2004), "It All Begins at Sea" (2007).Green has been acting as artistic director and chief script editor of "Movie Tales" (TV series) for Channel 2, Chief script editor of "Jerusalem Brew" (Channel 2, TV series, 2004-2005), Artitistic consultant and script editor for "A Touch Away" (TV Series, Channel 2, Tzv Pius – Avi Chai Foundation). In 1999 Green has been awarded the Israel Ministry of Education and cultural Award for Filmmakers and Scriptwriters and the America Israel Cultural Foundation – Special Grant for Filmmakers. |
